Haircut

I gave Henry his first haircut yesterday.  We did it outside, and he did great (except that he almost choked on a piece of bark while I was busy clipping...so we had an abrupt ending to the haircut).  I might need a little more practice before I am completely happy with my work, though :)

9 months old!

Henry weighs 19 lbs 8 oz and is 28 inches...a happy, healthy boy :)

Exciting news!

On Tuesday we closed on a one-acre lot of land in Pendleton!  The land is not cleared yet, so Travis will have a project that will give him plenty to fill up his weekends.  The land backs up to a creek and has lots of big, old trees on it.  We love the land, but are especially excited to live there one day because our good friends, the Kaldenbach family, have bought the land right next door!  We are looking forward to raising our families together and doing life with them.

Sick day

Henry had (and got over!) his first ear infection.  He got to stay in his pajamas all day and play with Mommy's beanie babies :)
