Bible

Henry loves his Bible.  Which we, of course, love to see.  He wants to sit in his chair and read it almost every morning while I fix his breakfast.  

His favorite story is John the Baptist (I have no idea why!) but if you ask him who the Bible is about he says Jeejee (Jesus). 

We are grateful for your desire to read God's word, Henry, and we pray that you continue to love the Bible more and more as you grow!

Decorating the Christmas Tree

I know that it's been a month since Christmas and this is really late.  I think this will be my last Christmas post...I'll try to be more up to date after this :)  But here are a few pictures from decorating our Christmas tree.

Henry had been dying to get into these "balls" (a word that incorporated every ornament on our tree) ever since my mom gave them to us at the beginning of November, so this was an exciting moment.

I wish I had taken a picture of our tree all decorated...but you'll just have to take my word that it was very pretty!

Christmas Tree Farm

We went to a tree farm a few days after Thanksgiving to pick out and chop down a Christmas tree!

Mmm smells so good!

Found it!

And we enjoyed the hot chocolate afterwards (Henry especially).

Now to find somewhere to put the tree in our house... :)
