Post Nap Reunion

Henry and Cora are always so excited to see each other after nap.  A few days ago Henry wanted Cora to come sit in the chair with him so I got a few pictures.

Hiking

We went on a hike and picnic last weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather!  It was a success...Henry hiked with us the whole time (close to 2 miles) and Cora napped in the carrier.

I caught Henry reading to Cora the other day.  I love these two little buddies!

5 months

So, now that Cora is almost 6 months old, I am posting pictures from her 5 month birthday :)  The weather was beautiful that day and we ate lunch outside so I just took a few pictures while we were eating.  She still has her blue eyes!

And this is what I got from Henry when I asked him to let me take his picture...

 but then he gave me a smile :)

Word Mix-ups

As Henry's vocabulary grows, we have had several instances of him mixing up two words that sound similar but just aren't quite the same.  He keeps us laughing.  Here are a few examples:


Me:  We are going to go pick up our car after supper.
Henry:  Our car?
Me:  Yes, our honda.
Henry:  Our car is not a panda!

Me:  We're going to see Ms. Barbie today.
Henry:  Ms. Barbecue?

Henry:  I want Cora to sit in her dumbo! (bumbo)

(I am drinking DECAF coffee.)
H: Is that your caffeine you're drinking?

(While we are playing outside)
H:  Look out, Mommy, don't go in there.  There is poison gravy in there!
